Mr. Clayton Kostelecky received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University in 1996. He has been working in the field of gas sensors for 25 years. Over his career he has been involved with hands-on development of sensors, manufacturing process development, project management and application engineering. Early in his career, at small businesses, he led teams that successfully commercialized gas sensors for hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, VOCs and hydrogen gases. This technology was acquired by Integrated Device Technology in 2016 and then by Renesas in 2019. Mr. Kostelecky has continued his journey with gas sensors at these large companies, helping transition the original analog devices to miniaturized low cost, digital devices. As Sr. Manager of Gas Sensors at Renesas his primary focus is on product development and introduction of Air Quality Sensing Solutions.
